Las Ventanas de San Miguel

San Miguel de Allende, Mexico

Las Ventanas de San Miguel is Nick Faldo’s first design project in Mexico. Working in association with acclaimed Arizona-based firm Schmidt-Curley, Faldo Design is creating a ‘championship standard’ 18-hole golf course beside the famous town of San Miguel de Allende. The six-time Major winner believes that the finished project will go on to be recognized as one of Mexico’s finest layouts.

Faldo’s thoughts:

“The piece of land that we have been given to work with overlooks the historic town of San Miguel de Allende, which makes for a stunning backdrop to a very dramatic round of golf. With its many sweeping elevation changes we have a naturally very diverse site upon which to sculpt 18 holes of strategic and character-full golf. With a bold, very striking bunkering style and a great variety of direction change, we intend to create a course that will challenge and inspire golfers of all abilities, an experience that people will want to engage with again and again.”
